Maintaining a dairy has been found as one of the most powerful tool that can be used to change the way you feel about yourself. It helps you overcome your stress, anxiety and allow you to have a peaceful mind. Owning a personal diary within your possession is an excellent indicator that you value your life too much and cherish the moments of your everyday life.

Of course, you can write about anything. It can be about your day-to-day events, your random thoughts that just crosses your mind, or even something that are so passionate about. What really matters is the consistency with which you approach it.

Write everyday without any hesitation. Don’t look for grammatical errors or worry about your literary style of writing. Just write something. Nobody is going to see what you have written. You are writing it down for yourself and the entire experience is solely for you. You are writing because you want to share your experiences with your inner self. You write because there are things that you can’t say out loud, but you want it to be desperately out. And maintaining a diary is the perfect medium for that purpose.

Trust me, I write my day to day experiences in my diary everyday and I feel so peaceful and happy after I put my words into it. I feel that there is a purpose for living my life and that motivates me greatly to go forward.

You can do this too and once you get the hang of it, you will really understand the beauty of simplicity. There is nothing more simpler than owning a personal diary that you care so much. So try it out and let it make your life more memorable.

  2. I think everyone should keep diaries or journals. though I don’t do daily entries, however… I write stuff from random to very important… mostly stuff on my mind. over the years, i find that i must declutter my mind at least once a week so i can prioritize and focus.

    great Job Abhijith!

    • Don’t worry Iydia, it has happened for me too. The most important thing you can do is to keep writing in it when you find time and that is what truly matters 😊. A diary is a glimpse of your life and it has a touch of your soul in it πŸ˜‡. Take care and have a nice day ahead my friend !!

  11. Amazing post. I love writing and keeping a diary as well. And additional bonus is when I am able to write my thoughts out, more thoughts and realizations come that would not have been so if I just only thought about it. Makes me want to go grab my diary now. ❀

  14. Writing can be cathartic, like bundling up everything you’ve taken through the day and throwing it out of the window, only to hear the satisfying ‘plunk’, can’t it?
Writing gives me a natural high!
Sometimes, the same can be said for blogging!
