I was just drinking tea today in the morning and contemplated my journey till now. There was a terrible time when I was so hard on myself and everything around me was so difficult, so complex. It was a time when I couldn’t understand the meaning of my life anymore. A time where I felt so lonely and alone, that I almost felt a terrible feeling of emptiness within me.

During those days, I used to think if my life was worth living. I used to think if there was going to be a big difference. I thought that life was not fair nor was some people who came and walked out of my life. Nothing seemed natural. I thought it was the end of myself. I thought that I was the loneliest person in the world. I lost all the hope I had in me.

But it’s not like that. When something’s bid farewell from our life, there will be something that will enter into our life. To make it balanced, to make it normal, to give us peace and to help us realise that we are not lonely. For me, after that point of suffering, I was blessed with a lot of good people who came to my life and made it colourful. They made me realise that despite what happens to you, in the end it will always bring you the happiness that you always deserved.

So all I want to tell you is that, you are not lonely in this world. You can never be left like that because there will be always some people who will help you rise up and make your life better because you always deserve the best.

  1. Abhijith, I think everyone with a conscience wonders about the meaning of life and what it all means, what is the purpose of living each day. For me, I’ve found purpose in the people around me, family and friends, who make me see that I’m important to them. Not because I might give them presents, but because they matter to me and we find we can count on each other. We share good times and bad, the decisions to set goals and the joy of meeting them. I’ve also discovered that reaching out to do something for others who are in need, even if very small acts, makes my life more meaningful as it relieves the pain, worry, or needs of others.

I’m very glad to know you’ve found worth in your life. I believe you will continue to discover your value each day, in the reflections in the sight and gratefulness of other people.
