We all have made mistakes and sometimes we feel bad for the person that we were. Our actions may have brought sadness to some people who we really care about. But a good convincing apology is all that takes ( if you are lucky ) to make things right as it was before.
Here are 4 tips that can help you in a great way.
1. SAY AS YOU REALLY MEAN IT
Go to the person and tell how bad you really feel about the whole thing. Start your apology with ‘I am sorry’ or ‘I really apologise’ and sincerely confront your mistakes to the person.
2. KEEP THE PROMISE
Promise yourself and to the person you apologised that you will never put yourself and the person in such a terrible situation, ever again. Make him/her realise about the importance of your friendship.
3. ADMIT YOUR MISTAKES
If the mistakes on your part, admit it then and there, without any hesitation. Admit the responsibilities of your immature actions, mistakes and the consequences caused by you. There is no shame or decrease in honour when you confront to someone about your mistakes. It will only make you feel better.
4. MAKE AMENDS
Make amends and ask the person if there is anything that you can do to make the situation as it was before. Tell him/her openly about how clear you are in making things right and sincerely make the person feel that you really mean it.
