You got to have passion and the desire to attain it must burn from your inside. When you have passion, you start working for your goal and tend to remain focussed and thus committed.

You are the best person who knows about what makes you distracted. Understand and move in such a way that it does not conflict with your working hours. While you are engaged in an activity, you must be present 100% in it and be committed towards it.

When you try to get involved in a process too much, you slowly start to lose your energy and you become tired. And when you are tired, the chances of you loosing your focus is more. So, take frequent breaks in between and balance the whole thing.

  2. I so agree with your points. I think having a strong passion for something is the key. You can work hard and try to avoid distractions, but if your heart and soul is not in it, it’s just not going to be the same. You won’t get as far, you won’t want to constantly improve, it will never be your thing 100%. But if there is passion, you can build on that. It’s a strong foundation.
Also, I think not being affected by distractions and the balance of working hard and taking breaks are learnable. Being passionate about something? I think that comes from You, from the inside. You can’t learn it.
Great 3 points, so important! Thank you!

  7. Frequent breaks are really important! I usually set my time for 45 minutes and then take a 5 or 10-minute break.
