We work for a living, to pay our rents, to live our dream and sometimes follow our passion. We work so hard that sometimes we do not know how fast time passes. We forget our pain, our tiredness, our stress and we don’t care about it purposely because we are making enough money for our well being and why should we care about it right ?

Yes, there is nothing wrong in being a decent worker ( working for long hours ) or following you dreams. But at the same time it is also important to take care of yourself. Your health is a crucial factor to be considered and it plays a great role in the longitivtiy of your life. Continuous involvement in work brings in you stress and may affect your health, slowly.

That is why taking frequent breaks is very important. While being continuously involved in something, don’t forget yourselves to relax sometime. It improves your thought, Stimulates your creativity and increases your thinking power. Taking a break helps you to realise what you have been missing in life and help you achieve it ( in one way or the other ).

Great pioneer like Steve Jobs was kicked out of his own company and that long break he faced in his life helped him to start N.E.X.T and also brought him back to Apple again and we all know what happened next. That long break made him think and that revolutionised the world forever.

There are many inspiring instances like this. So, take frequent breaks and rest for a while. Go out and get some fresh air, hang out with friends, meditate for some time, think about your best moments and remain happy. Don’t take yourself too seriously and force everything on yourself. Inspiration and happiness comes when you are mentally relaxed and not stressed. Only then, can you lead a wonderful and balanced life.

  1. This is so true. Many times people (including myself) get so caught up with working so hard that we forget about relaxing and enjoying our lives. I have a friend who works almost 12 hours 5 days of the week. In my opinion, that can be draining considering the fact that his days off are not back to back. Great post!

  2. I agreeπŸ˜„πŸ‘πŸΎ Taking a break not only provides physical rest but it helps in getting mentally recharged.
In fact, intense workout plans call for rest periods in order for the body to heal, repair, and recharge.
    Great admonishement!πŸ™‚πŸ‘πŸΎ
